Do you have what it takes to perform live before thousands of hungry rock fans? Are you ready to open for four prominent, international Rock/Metal acts? Are you ready to use the biggest concert production in the Middle East to do so?
Get ready because your band might be the next band to open up for Rock and Metal icons at next year's Dubai Desert Rock Festival 2007. This year CSM wants to give all local bands a chance to prove themselves as the rightful openers to the big boys. “The Battle for Dubai Desert Rock” will take place on November 16th where eight local bands will battle it out to win the chance of a lifetime. Local band Mannikind already had their chance this year when they will open for some of the best rock bands in the world.
Eight bands from all entries will be selected to play in the “Final Battle” December 15, 2006 at a venue to be announced -- that might very well be their big break and entry into the big time. The bands will be judged on their performance, stage presence, energy on stage, crowd response and image, and, of course, their original material. Only one of the eight bands will succeed in experiencing how it feels to play the biggest Rock/Metal festival in the Middle East – Dubai Desert Rock 2007.
